Meet Philip Kalfin. Phil is a retired educator and the newest addition to the family at the Southeast Museum of Photography. Phil is also the face of the SMP's new educational program; an on-demand docent service. Phil has spent some time researching the exhibitions at the museum, and preparing tours for anyone between the ages of 6 and 96. If you stop into the museum on Fridays after 11:00, you and your group can request a personalized docent engagement with Phil. Phil's purpose is to facilitate engagement with the photography exhibits, to answer questions, and to provide information and data that might not otherwise be obvious or available. If you choose to take Phil up on his offer to lead your group through the exhibitions, we are certain that you will find the experience both educational and entertaining.
