SMP Presents "Volusia County Views"

The Southeast Museum of Photography is pleased to present "Volusia County Views," a black and white photography exhibition created by members of the Ormond Beach Casements Camera Club. This exhibition consists of 38 images–produced by 24 photographers ranging in experience from professional to amateur enthusiast–that celebrate the natural beauty and scenic wonders of Volusia County. Some of the images highlight popular tourist attractions, such as DeLeon Springs State Park and the Daytona International Speedway, while others offer contemplative views of the Florida landscape and bygone eras preserved for our continual enjoyment by the Barberville Pioneer Settlement. The imagery gives audiences a chance to take a visual "tour" of Volusia County while visiting the Community Spotlight Gallery maintained by the Southeast Museum of Photography at the News-Journal Center at Daytona State College, located at 221 North Beach Street in downtown Daytona Beach.

Opening Reception: Friday, August 18th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public.

Where: News-Journal Center at Daytona State College, located at 221 N. Beach Street, Daytona Beach. The artwork is available for public viewing on the 2nd floor, just outside the Davidson Theater.
